Entries for the International Choral Music Competition (see Entry Form below) should be sent by registered post by 15 November 2009 at the latest (the postmark will be accepted).
Entries have to be approved by the Board of the Florilège Vocal de Tours, which will confirm its decision by email or fax – at the latest by 1 January 2010 – to those choirs which have been selected, and by post during the first half of January to those choirs which have not been accepted.
Choirs which are selected should confirm their participation by fax or email before 10 January 2010. If no confirmation is received by that date, the Board reserves the right to select other choirs on the waiting list.
On receipt of their fax or email confirmation, the choirs which have been selected will receive a detailed circular letter.
Choirs should:
• reply by return to the circular and pay the entry fee of €200 (non-refundable);
• in January pay a surety of €200 which will be reimbursed1 by cheque or SWIFT transfer after the competition is over; or for choirs which withdraw, only in case of force majeure and at the latest 3 months before the event (final date 1 March 2010);
• in February send 6 copies of the scores of each of the works chosen.
The Florilège Vocal de Tours will regard the entry procedure as completed only when all the formalities have been carried out.
